Late Summer - Cowichan Lake

This one came back with me from
last week's Cowichan Lake adventure.
During late August
and September Vancouver Island
has a soft, gentleness added to it's
beauty.

  1. Those muted smoky colors convince me of the beauty you perceived at the scene, Linny! Once again the repeat rhythms in your trees and waves are a great delight!

  4. Lovely suggestion of patterns here, Linny, almost abstracted, while maintaining a wonderful sense of place. I can feel that cool air in the warm sunlight again!

  14. Hi Linny, Love your beautiful, rhythmic, colourful paintings. Although I already know of you and your work, I linked through to your blog through an French artist's blog, and I live in Victoria! Hilarious! I just love how small the blog world is and how very supportive we all are of one another. See you around town!
