"Summer Solstice Evening"

The Summer Solstice Linnyland painting adventure 

tradition continues... and last night's adventure was full

of action; Swallow and Turkey Vulture swoops, 

Kingfisher chatter, 

fly-bys from Goldfinch, Blue Heron, Bald Eagle, Quail & Osprey,

 a few sprinkles of rain and eventually big winds. 

Winds so BIG that just before the "paint fast finale" 

there was a "butter side down in the bushes" incident, 

for the painting (not me), then a quick rescue.

"Spring Afternoon - Saxe Point"

From Easter Sunday's Linnyland painting adventure

 at Saxe Point Park in Esquimalt BC.

While there I saw the huge Bald Eagle in it's nest 

and the minute Anna's Hummingbird in it's tiny nest.
