"Prairie Luminary"

As you may or may not know, my first three years 

were lived in the Canadian prairies 

and my most distinct memories of this time 

are of Fireflies, Prairie Dogs 

and 

GIGANTIC, 

Wooden, 

Grain 

Elevators.

So, it's very exciting when (every now and then) 

someone kindly offers one of their 

grain elevator photos as inspiration for 

a long & leaner Linnyland painting.

Inspiration for this painting of the elevator in Rouleau SASK,

made FAMOUS in the Corner Gas comedy series 

as the "Dog River" elevator,

came from Linnyland Collector 

AND photographer extraordinaire, "Fionnuisce", 

of Arcata California USA.

(And, "P" could be for pretend or it could be for prairie evening but it's neither of those...)
