 surrounded by fellow artist friends

 and perfect weather!

"City Centre" SOLD

This is another painting commissioned

by the Downtown Victoria Business Association.

I wandered round and round the perimeter of Victoria's Bay Centre

and chose this view of the large centre,

(from Douglas Street and View Street).

As you can see, in Linnyland, the tree foliage

 was ahead of season

 and turned this scene to

the golden city center.

"Red Clouds"

From a May evening at Highrock Park

Linnyland painting adventure.

While I painted there was a group

 of costumed "youngers" playing a

pretend-world game, the one

player that I saw the most, and that I saw the most of,

was costumed in a variety of faux fur bits.
Linnyland meets ? world!!

Linnyland Cover of Monday Magazine!!

"Local artist Linny D. Vine doesn't see the world the same way
as the rest of us. In Linnyland, buildings dance, and colour, shape and light
combine to create a feeling of bliss for all who set eyes upon it.

Life is good in Linnyland.

This special, vibrant world is a reflection
of the minds' eye of local artist Linny D. Vine, a celebrated painter
represented by galleries across North America.

You can read more about Vine in Monday's Summer Guide."

New Moon & Lighthouse

Only four more days

until Winter Solstice...and then the return

 of the LIGHT!

(According to Linny-Lore,

it's tradition to celebrate Winter Solstice

in this way: write a list of what

you'd like to leave behind along with the darkness,

then write another list of what you'd like to welcome into

your life along with the return of the light.)

~

And speaking of light, here is the Brockton Point Lighthouse,

in Stanley Park,  in Vancouver BC,

in LINNYLAND!!
