Autumn by the Blue Bridge SOLD

"Autumn by the Blue Bridge" is one of the larger paintings
that I mentioned in one of my past posts.
I'm getting ahead of myself in the seasons with this one,
(and I don't want to rush this year's glorious summer)
but, with all the talk of the fate of Victoria's historic
Johnson Street Bridge / "The Blue Bridge", I started thinking
that it may be the autumn of our (1924) bascule Blue Bridge - or is
that final decision still "up in the air"?

  1. Oh, you have created such a magical place. How I wish I could visit it. I do hope that the bridge will be saved for posterity.

Your painting is gorgeous. The red tree leaves along the top provide a strong graphic that suggests a lovely, shady distance.

  2. Hi Melinda,
It sounds as though you and I could do a where we live swap as I would really like to visit the warm colors of your area and, while there, visit the Tucson Museum of Art to see your painting. Thank-you for your comment and for your wish to save our "Blue Bridge".
