This small painting
is from a grey day adventure
at Cattle Point Park in Oak Bay.
I set up along the entance roadway facing
towards Discovery Island.
The first brush stroke that I applied had
a slight slant so, I decided to continue the slant
throughout the painting.

Well done, Linny! I especially enjoy the luscious, distant island. The play of blues, oranges and grays are so beautiful--delicately, but confidently painted. Wow.
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Melinda, I appreciate your thoughtful comments! I am finding that the way my grey day paintings evolve is quite different from the sunny day plein airs.
