- I'm a visual artist living in Victoria BC Canada. I paint in either acrylic or oil in what is described as "a visit to a dream" style and/or Linnyism. To me, the visual world is a beautiful combination of colors, shapes and light swirling together in rhythmic patterns that feel like a mixture of Robert Gordon's "I Want to be Free" and Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". ReplyDeleteI liked the way that you framed the store using opposite walls and the cast shadow of the building to "funnel" the eye towards the owner and his store!
You've used the best perspective to enhance the figure and building... together! I can feel the pride!

I usually click on the image to see your brushwork better. Such happy strokes, and even the awning seems to have a personality! Those little dabs of color on the fruit are great, too.
