This one is from that same magical Linnyland painting
(& swimming) adventure to Lake Cowichan
or Kaatza (The Big Lake).
After a swim I wandered around the point
and painted facing the Northwest end of the lake.
And, when I had finished,
there was time for one more swim...

ReplyDeleteHi there Linny!... This little gem is as refreshing to the eye... as your swim was to your person on this particular Linnyland Adventure!
ReplyDelete.... "beside still waters..." Right Linny?
Good one!
Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
Swimming, then painting, then swimming again? Could there be a better kind of day? I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteI love that beautifully textured sky with clouds. It must have been wonderful.
So wonderful -- the whole description and the resulting amazing painting.

Landscapes got a sense of heightened animation, the clouds look like 1950s spaceships landing on an alien landscape.
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Autumn Leaves - it's certainly a magical place for me!
