Hello Kim,The fortunate residents of Joan Crescent in Victoria have this castle at the top of their street, although it may not appear exactly as seen here! Thank-you!
I'm a visual artist living in Victoria BC Canada. I paint in either acrylic or oil in what is described as "a visit to a dream" style and/or Linnyism. To me, the visual world is a beautiful combination of colors, shapes and light swirling together in rhythmic patterns that feel like a mixture of Robert Gordon's "I Want to be Free" and Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". When I paint I bring my interpretation of this beauty to the canvas. Welcome to Linnyland and thank-you for looking at my interpretations.

Hi to Linnyland!... Longer and leaner... but still a winner! Fanciful...stretches the mind and the eye wonderfully Linny!
ReplyDeleteDistortion... but no loss of proportion!Eye catchingly beautiful! Well done!

ReplyDeleteThank-you!
I am always amazed at your ability to simplify and elongate a form. The linear style is also completely pleasing and decorative!
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun! This is another beautiful scene from the fantastic world of Linnyland.
ReplyDeleteHow I love to visit and dream of all the happy things that happen there.
I especially love the four bushes in the foreground and the shadow in the upper center. They seem to be singing to each other.
Linnyland is definitely one of my favorite places. Beautiful painting.
