(the first that I've ever seen - maybe the young of
the lake's legendary "Stin-Qua") I painted this one,
then another swim...

What Don said. (:
ReplyDeleteHi Linny,
ReplyDeleteThis captures everything I love about your work, the light, the joy, the love of the landscape.
Beautiful.

Hi Linny! I'm new to your site- found it through Gwen Bell's links. I'm a new daily painter and looking for other artist sites I like. Your style is so individual and fun- love the colors and the composition, as well asa the "flat pattern" effect. I often think that it's hard to do an original take on landscape that isn't hokey or trite- but you do it well. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Jeffrey! It was a Treasure Day!
ReplyDeleteWhat I said to Don, Diane...Thank-you!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Barbara! I'm certain that you had a wonderful blogless, carefree month full of treasure days...I'll wander over and see what you've been up to... And, thank-you for all of your dear words!

Hello Layne and welcome! Thank-you for your great comments...I'll wander over your way....
ReplyDeleteThis almost has a woodblock quality to it. Love the golds and oranges!
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Gwen! (I like your woodblock comment.) I love those warm golds and oranges, too, and I notice them often in your work.
