This is a bit different, somehow, but beautifully intriguing! I love the play of light, the sense of depth against flatness, and the ever present wonder of Linnyland.
Thank-you, Barbara, you know that you are welcome in Linnyland - anytime! (Thank-you for sharing you blog with all of us blog buds - much appreciated!)
I'm a visual artist living in Victoria BC Canada. I paint in either acrylic or oil in what is described as "a visit to a dream" style and/or Linnyism. To me, the visual world is a beautiful combination of colors, shapes and light swirling together in rhythmic patterns that feel like a mixture of Robert Gordon's "I Want to be Free" and Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". When I paint I bring my interpretation of this beauty to the canvas. Welcome to Linnyland and thank-you for looking at my interpretations.
