Hi Linny!... a bright... cheery, little sun catcher! Reminds me of a piece of stained glass.... full of glorious light... and carefully cut out partitioned elements!
This is so beautiful and fun, Linny! I love that little house and the way you've rendered the water and trees. It's a grand moment in Linnyland. It's still hot here, so I wish I were there listening to the water lap against the dock.
Looking forward to more of your painting adventures.
Thank-you, Melinda! (Now,I notice that the tree boughs are canoe shaped, must have been concentrating on the "boat" house theme all the while.) Sending cool but not cold breezes all the way to you in Tucson!!
I'm a visual artist living in Victoria BC Canada. I paint in either acrylic or oil in what is described as "a visit to a dream" style and/or Linnyism. To me, the visual world is a beautiful combination of colors, shapes and light swirling together in rhythmic patterns that feel like a mixture of Robert Gordon's "I Want to be Free" and Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". When I paint I bring my interpretation of this beauty to the canvas. Welcome to Linnyland and thank-you for looking at my interpretations.

Merci beaucoup, Martine Alison!
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Bruce - I like your stained glass, sun catcher references! Keeping it simple appeals to moi.
