"Winter's Retreat - Lac Le Jeune"

From a recent Kamloops bound,
Linnyland painting adventure;
a most surreal experience to paint
 in hazy, HOT HEAT
 next to an ICE covered lake,
 with tree swallows, two ospreys, and a marmot
 as an audience.

  1. Love the painting and the story. Hot heat. There hasn't been a lot of that, and I don't mind. But next to ice -- superb contrast.

    XOXOXOXO Barbara

  2. Thank-you, Barbara...you know that it's (nearly) always warm and sunny in Linnyland! (After the winter that you had we shall have no more talk of "ice" ...onwards to summertime...)
