say that spring
is here!
(Even though, earlier this week, there were snow flakes falling
while the pink petals from the plum tree blossoms
were floating to the ground.)

Aah... my weekend is complete upon seeing another delightful Linny painting.
ReplyDeleteJ'apprécierais une petite promenade en vélo. Votre peinture vous y engage. Beau travail.
ReplyDeleteFabulous glorious colour..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting, Linny. It must seem odd to have snow and cherry blossoms fall at the same time. Magical, yes?
ReplyDeleteHi Linny!... Your "B&B" is delightfully "Linny"... colourful... full of energy ... and Hope! Just like Spring!
ReplyDeleteSpring has "Her" way with us! Keeps you off balance with anticipation and excitement! Guess that's what makes Spring so special... so yearned for!
Sap's runnin'... syrup's boilin'... Robins are back toilin' for early worms.
All's right with the world!
Good Painting and Happy Spring Linny!
Regards,
Bruce
Love the way you have kept to your signature style yet still i feel the translucency of those blossom petals and that warm sunshine dusting the walls and pavement. The previous one is a great painting too Linny. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeletegorgeous LInny!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog. Your style and subject are delightful and so full of life and movement . I love it and I particularly am mesmerized with "LIfe on the Edge" I will be back for more.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I flip to this painting it reminds me of being in Holland...the bikes, building, and light look that way to me. I really enjoy this painting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty,
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be in Linnyland. Thanks for this. It's snowing now, not too heavily, but there are no pink blossoms yet. That's good actually, because here it would be about two months too early.
Super work.
Take care,
Barbara
Sheila, THANK_YOU!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Bruce...blossoms abound and spring is here! Happy Spring to you, too!
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Sheila. Spring does inspire!
ReplyDeleteThank-you, dear Sally!
ReplyDeleteThank-you for visiting, Dominique, and for your wonderful comments, too!
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Paula. I've yet to visit Holland but maybe some day...
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Barbara! It all happens when it needs to happen, doesn't it? (Although in Victoria we are about one month early in a lot of our happening this year.)
