I'm a visual artist living in Victoria BC Canada. I paint in either acrylic or oil in what is described as "a visit to a dream" style and/or Linnyism. To me, the visual world is a beautiful combination of colors, shapes and light swirling together in rhythmic patterns that feel like a mixture of Robert Gordon's "I Want to be Free" and Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". When I paint I bring my interpretation of this beauty to the canvas. Welcome to Linnyland and thank-you for looking at my interpretations.

Hi Linny,
ReplyDeleteWow. So incredibly awe inspiring. I wish I'd been there with you. I can absolutely see what you
saw in your magnificent painting.

ReplyDeleteLumière jaillissante... explosion de vie.
ReplyDeleteLove this composition Linny, the sky and clouds draw you right in.
ReplyDeleteBut your grain elevators are still my favorite!
Thank-you, Barbara. The tide was coming in so I was painting quickly!
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Cindy. While I was painting it was the tide that was moving in on me!
ReplyDeleteThank-you for visiting and for your comment, Susan.
ReplyDeleteMerci, Martine Alison!
ReplyDeleteHi Deb,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you back and thank-you for your comment. Are there any wooden grain elevators standing in your part of the world?
