Late Summer Evening SOLD

This one is
from a recent adventure
atop Highrock Park as a
late summer storm approached.
I wish that I had at least three
more sets of hands along with
three more easels so that
I could have made an attempt
to capture all of the
changing and increasingly
intense colors.
As it was, I feel fortunate to have
been out painting on that
particular evening.
Plus, imagine how long
it would take to clean up eight hands,
four easels
and all of the brushes, too.

  1. Lovely light in your painting.

You made me chuckle with the eight hands pros and cons!

  2. Hi Linny!... "You" really didn't require all the extra hands to capture what was there.

"You" accomplished that in a perfectly "Linny" way... with economy of brustroke and the bare bones of an impeccable design!

I "see" what you "saw"... and moreover... feel it as well! Nicely done!

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  3. Hi Linny,

Just a gorgeous piece. I can see that particular light. As for the hands -- three assistants might be too many, but maybe not. Funny.

    Lovely work as always.
